Evangelizing AMME delivery end of this year, the award evangelize. Established by the mission to highlight good examples in evangelization, the prize has six categories. The missionary Joseph Bernardo answered several questions on the subject.
Because AMME instituted the Prize evangelize?
The purpose of AMME is to help the Brazilian Evangelical churches to fulfill their task to evangelize the world. We act as a consulting, examining, diagnosing and prescribing for the purposes of evangelization of the Church. A major shortcoming is the model that can be imitated. So AMME instituted the Prize evangelize, to indicate to the Church people and ministries that serve as an example of evangelization. The award is not to praise or prefer the work of these people who do it for the Lord and are rewarded by Him, but to benefit the church, pointing out solutions that will help fulfill the Great Commission, the essential task of every believer.
How was the process of choosing the winners?
The award was designed to evangelize be an indication of the missionaries of AMME because they travel throughout Brazil and are in constant contact with everything that happens in evangelization. In ENAMME09 the National Meeting of AMME in Sao Paulo, in March, the Award was launched and the participants of the meeting were encouraged to make nominations in each category, the missionaries found. Themselves and prepared their statements during a meeting in September, about four hours, the winners were chosen. Participants included twenty missionaries, initially organized in five groups of four. Each mission presented its list of nominees and the group discussed to formulate a single list. After the groups were united in two major groups, which claimed to unify the five lists in only two. Finally further discussions led to the list of winners.
Who were the winners in this 2009 edition?
In the category Leadership Evangelization, Claudia Guimaraes . She is the author of books herding the children of this generation and life-giving women, exercising the pastoral ministry for children, started the movement AIP - not to violence against children and has influenced people to the evangelization of children across the country. In the category Evangelization Transcultural Lidório Ronaldo , the project leader Amanajo. In category Training Evangelistic, Neto Sinfronio Garden , with its excellent training program for redemption of believers away from church. In the category Material Evangelistic, the Bible Society of Brazil , with several important materials for evangelization, especially the Bible in Braille. In category Strategy Evangelism, the Life Project , traveling with their teams. In the category Youth in Evangelism, Teen Brazil Street , a wonderful ministry that is now gathering more than a thousand teenagers in their conferences, with a proposed dynamic and very intelligent.
What is the Award evangelize?
Admittedly, there is a beautiful trophy for the winners, but only serves to remind the prize. We believe that there is no greater privilege than serving the Lord and cooperate in the growth of His kingdom, therefore, the award consists of AMME cooperate with the awardees for them to produce even more fruit for the glory of God. From the description of the prize AMME undertakes to disclose so intense, in all media ministry for a year, the activities of the person or ministry awarded, helping to develop more contacts and providing opportunities for expanding the ministry. Thus AMME help the church to find models and solutions to improve the evangelization in all areas.
What do the stars on the trophy?
Well, the text of Daniel 12:3 is a kind of 'golden text' to AMME. This text teaches that those who teach righteousness, the correct way to live, are like stars - this is what evangelism is. So the stars symbolize those people who are doing work as significant in evangelization. The southern Cross, one of our national symbols, has six elements and each one symbolizes a category. As in our flag, the Southern Cross is not seen as one looks at the ground, but it looks like someone from outside the universe, first seeing the stars and then the globe illuminated by them - this is how God has seen the work of these brothers. Like the stars which guide the navigators in the dark nights, so are these evangelists, which serve as the example.
